Hi, I’m Calvin! I’m a professional photographer and videographer who specialises in weddings. I’ve been using cameras for over a decade now and found my passion in weddings.
There’s genuinely nothing better than when someone comes back to you saying how much they loved their photos/video, especially knowing they’ll be enjoyed for years to come. Immortalising someone’s special day can be a daunting task but I take it in my stride always aiming for the very best with each and every wedding.

Wedding videos are becoming an increasingly popular way to capture your special day. Just as much care is taken with video with everything recorded in stunning 4K and professionally colour graded.

FAQ
Where are you based?
I am based in Stranraer and photograph weddings around the Dumfries and Galloway area.
What if it rains?
Nothing will get in the way of making your day special! I will use umbrellas or look for the perfect undercover area. As long as you're happy to roll with the punches then I am too!
Can we pick the song for our video?
No, I use purchased licensed music for wedding videos which means I can legally put them online. I choose music that creates the overall vibe and mood of your day that reflects your wedding.
Do you give us the RAW images?
No, when you hire me you are hiring me for my style and trust me to deliver the best photos. The post-processing is equally as important as the photo taking.
How long does it take to receive our photos/video?
Turnaround is 4 weeks from the wedding day. For photographs a personalised blog post and sample gallery will be delivered the day after the wedding containing 15-20 images. This is to give you something for social media as well as advertisement for myself.
We don't like posing and are both a little awkward?
This is perfectly fine! I will talk you through it and make you feel as comfortable as possible. I will suggest a few poses to make sure you're both looking and feeling confident, but then will give you direction to let it naturally unfold from there. Forget about the camera and remember why you fell in love.
Do we need to feed you?
Yes please, I would really appreciate it! I will be on my feet all day and very much appreciate it. All I ask is eating at the same time as everyone else so that I don't miss a moment shooting!
How do we receive our photos/video from you?
I will deliver a personal gallery of all the photos where the entire gallery can be downloaded or individual photos. Prints are also available from the gallery! Video file sizes are so much bigger that they are delivered via a USB drive.
What happens if we lose our photos/video afterwards?
Don't worry! I keep two copies of everything backed up and safe so if any accident does happen just get in contact and I can get your precious moments back over to you in no time.
